Mid-South Champs DIII, 2010
Time to prepare for next season!!!!!!!
Practice has been underway all summer, but just this past week we have started more skill's preparing for 15s. For those of you who don't know, our new coach has arrived. Lawrence O'Brien from England. Lawrence had a stint playing with the London Saracens and has spent the last several years all over England coaching at multiple levels. Leading his last club Brighton to a championship. Lawrence has also had the honor to spend time in Denver coaching the forwards for the US National team.
Lawrence is now running practice, and you might say our intensity is at another level. We missed the final 16 teams of nationals this past season by a 22-19 loss to the current South Champs Hilton Head. A conditioning mistake we will not make again.
So start running, and get to training when you can as practice sessions have been great!!!
Slappy has a great lineup of matches for the fall, our first 15s match is at end of August with the bulk of fall kicking off in Sept.
Nationals 2011 start now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
